Italian Folk Art Federation of America, Inc.

The next IFAFA conference is scheduled for Fall, 2007, in Dallas, Texas, and will be hosted by I Colori Italiani Italian folk dance troupe. The conference will be held November 2, 3, and 4, 2007, at the Embassy Suites Hotel - Dallas Park Central.

The conferences always include a variety of workshops filled with song, dances, handicrafts, and educational lectures. On Saturday evening, November 3, at a wonderful Festa Folcloristica, participants and the public will be treated to performances of Italian folk dances and songs while enjoying a delicious dinner. The folk performances and dinner will be followed by an evening of dancing.

In addition to workshops on traditional Italian songs and dances, sessions are also planned on the following topics, among others:

Italian Mosaic Crafting

Making La Befana Dolls

Making Italian Bobbin Lace
