Carpiti's Honor
by Joseph Anzalone

A novel of a Sicilian family's move to the "new world" circa 1900 - how, for three generations of their family, they overcome the bigotry and discriminatory "welcome"  without the typical employ of graphic violence, graphic sex, and the like.

It portrays a Sicilian family as they REALLY are - God fearing, honorable, and dedicated to family values. Crafty when needs be, but honorable always. A love story extraordinaire! Again, thanks for your diligence in portraying Italian-Americans as they deserve to be treated. On a side note, "Mamma" and I are excited about the return of our son and his girlfriend from Italy. They've been there for about ten days now. We "can't wait" to hear of all the great things he's learned on his trip abroad. It is gratifying to me and his mamma that, of all the places he could have gone, he chose Italy.

He shares with us our concerns about propriety (or impropriety, as the case may be and usually is) when Hollywood and others perpetuate the myths regarding the TRUE nature of our Italian-American countrymen.
